Corralco Mountain & Ski Resort is located at the bottom of the Lonquimay volcano in the middle of the Malalcahuello - Nalcas National Reserve. The landscapes were originated thanks to the volcanic and glacial activity of the Andean area.

The hotel is located in a privileged place, surrounded by high snow-capped mountains and millennial monkey puzzle trees (araucarias). In addition to its nature, this area has been recognized on a cultural level because Mapuches and Pehuenches inhabit its surroundings that keep their traditions alive.

Excursions

In Corralco not everything is skiing and snowboarding, but it offers different excursions to get to know the Andean landscapes of the Araucanía Region. In winter you can go hiking with snowshoes, randonee, and snowmobiles. In summer you can go hiking, trekking and horseback riding in the middle of exuberant nature and millenial monkey puzzle trees (araucarias) .

For those who have an interest in culture, there are excursions to visit families of local communities who live nearby to tell us their Andean history and traditions.

Recommendations:

For excursions it is recommended to bring a backpack of 25 litters and several layers of clothes (Capilene, wool, Polar), convertible pants, windbreaker. Wear a wool cap, gloves, sunglasses and outdoor shoes.
